Kaye Abad ‘very happy’ with Chito-Neri's upcoming wedding

Joyce Jimenez - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines- Kaye Abad is happy for the upcoming wedding of Chito Miranda and Neri Naig.

Chito was Kaye’s longtime boyfriend.

“Masaya, actually masaya ako for them,” she said during the press conference of “Two Wives” on Tuesday. “They deserve a happy ending talaga sa lahat ng pinagdaanan nila. Finally ito na, happy ending silang dalawa. So masayang-masaya talaga ako para sa kanila.”

The Kapamilya actress is also in a relationship with Paul Jake Castillo, who is also one of her closest friends.

Kaye said they haven’t seriously talked about settling down, but she surely sees herself as Paul Jake’s wife.

“Hindi ko naman siya i-boyfriend kung hindi ko nakikita ang sarili ko sa kanya,” she said.

Meanwhile, Kay said she feels pressured that her upcoming primetime show “Two Wives” will replace the Bea Alonzo-Paulo Avelino drama series “Sana Bukas Pa Ang Kahapon.”

“Sobrang pressured po kasi ngayon lang din ako nagbida,” she said, laughing. “Kumbaga dati support lang, ang pressure nasa bida. Pero gagawin namin ang lahat, ma-portray namin nang maayos ang characters namin para mapamahal kami sa manonood namin.

“Kasi ‘yon lang naman ‘yon, e, ang mapamahal kami sa manonood at mapasaya namin sila. Doon naman talaga kami papatok, para ma-maintain ‘yong magandang istorya, magandang performance naming lahat,” she said.

Joining Kaye on the show are Erich Gonzales, Jason Abalos, and Patrick Garcia. It will air on October 13, after “Ikaw Lamang.”
