Andi Eigenmann, siblings promised Mark Gil they'd stick together

MANILA, Philippines — Andi Eigenmann thinks that having a big family helps her in coping with her dad Mark Gil's death.

Mark Gil passed away on September 1 due to liver cirrhosis.

“I guess we're also lucky because we have a big family,” Andi said referring to he Eigenmann clan, in an interview with a news website.

“Like I have all my siblings here with me and we love each other so much. And I think that's a promise we gave to our dad, na no matter what happens we'll stick together. Even without him, we have each other's backs. Hindi namin papabayaan ang isa't isa.”

“For me, as long as you ave family to support you, nothing is hard. And we're all in this together,” she added.

The Kapamilya actress admits that she still misses her dad, yet she knows that he's in a better place.

“Everyday, all of us naman [misses him], and marami pa sanang bagay na gusto ko na magawa with him pero hindi na [puwede]. Pero okay lang, We'll still do it in honor of my dad,” she said.
