Badboys, Sub Zero Idols go 2-0 in IBP caging
CEBU, Philippines - Team Badboys and Sub Zero Idols bested separate foes to stay unbeaten after two games in the 2016 Integrated Bar of the Philippines-Cebu Basketball League at the Capitol Parish Gym along Escario Street in Cebu City.
Richard Bauzon and Fiscal Rogelio del Prado connived for 21 points as the Badboys upended the Rebels, 56-52, while Fermin Pepito posted a game-high tying 21 points to power the Sub Zero Idols past YLAC, 77-73.
Badboys and Sub Zero Idols thus shared the temporary lead with identical 2-0 slates, while the Rebels and YLAC dropped to 1-1.
In the other games, Rowell Juban exploded for 24 for the Pañeros, which had to go through double overtime before nailing their first win at the expense of the Eagles, 87-79, while the Dzntrs trounced the Spartans, 95-71, in the league's most lopsided game, so far.
