CEBU, Philippines – The Cebu City Ninos continues to haul gold medals to maintain its lead despite a strong push from Mandaue City on the fourth day of action in the 2015 Central Visayas Regional Athletic Association (CVIRAA) Regional Meet mainly at the E.S.Binghay Memorial Sports Oval in Balamban, Cebu.

The Ninos now has 50 golds, 49 silvers and 36 bronze medals while Mandaue is trying to catch-up with their 41-15-16 gold-silver-bronze medals. Talisay City is at third with 20-11-15 gilts in the overall medal standings.

Cebu City's secondary bets carried most of the load for its title retention campaign after grabbing 39 golds, 30 silvers and 21 bronzes.

Majority of the Niños golds came from the two day swimming event which ended the other day at the Cebu City Sports Center plus some contributions from athletics, archery, and taekwondo.
