Good pho – pho sure!
CEBU, Philippines - The city’s well-known restaurant group has added a new branch – highlighting Vietnamese-inspired specials, The Abaca Group’s PHAT Pho effectively expands the range of quality dishes available around.
Located at The Terraces at Ayala Center Cebu, the newly opened Pho strums on the same chords that made the venue a hit when its first branch opened years back. It takes inspiration from Vietnam’s traditional streetfood-style noddle shops. And so Vietnam’s flavors and tangs have now made their way to Cebu.
PHAT Po’s noodle dishes are big favorites with diners –”Pho Special,” a house specialty prepared with shaved US angus beef, braised beef, meatball and tendon; “Pho Bo,” classic Vietnamese beef soup; “Pho Ga,” classic Vietnamese chicken noodle soup; and “Bun Bo Hue,” spicy pork-and-beef based soup; among many others.
The restaurant’s “Homemade Fishcake,” “Grilled Lemongrass Pork,” “Grilled Five-Spice Chicken,” fresh and fried variants of its “Vietnamese Spring Roll” are also popular with customers. At PHAT Pho, it’s all good food, for sure! (YRST)
