Campus news: INKED finalists awarded by NYC, Comelec

The National Youth Commission and the Commission on Elections awarded talented young filmmakers in the INKED short video compilation on Oct. 23 at the Far Eastern University. The first three finalists won a cash prize of P15,000 while the remaining winners will receive P5,000. INKED is a short video compilation that highlights voter registration and participation.

Briones talks Marawi education concerns

Department of Education Secretary Leonor Briones discussed the rehabilitation of Marawi City’s school facilities and buildings during a press conference at the Manila Hotel last Oct. 23. She vowed to continue efforts to facilitate the rebuilding of Marawi’s educational system after the five-month siege of the city by ISIS-inspired terrorists.

8th ASEAN-Korea Frontier Forum accepts applications

The ASEAN-ROK Cooperation Fund and the National Youth Commission are now accepting applications in support of the Asia Exchange Association for the 8th ASEAN-Korea Frontier Forum. The forum will facilitate multicultural platforms for discussions, debates, and cultural tours in order to allow the youth to promote strong ties between the two countries.
