BIR computerized accounting compliance seminar for Visayas, Mindanao taxpayers

MANILA, Philippines - Medium and large taxpayers are urged to attend a one-day seminar on Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) Computerized Accounting System (CAS) compliance to help those businesses who are having difficulty setting up, getting accreditation, and running a successful CAS in compliance with BIR Regulation 2009-9. This event is scheduled on Aug. 4, 2017 at the Seda Abreeza Hotel, Davao City.

Given the BIR’s formation of a special task force CSET to monitor medium to large taxpayers, one can expect stricter enforcement from the tax authorities. Attending this will help hurdle and solve CAS headaches, issues and most importantly, prevent BIR penalties.

This will feature seasoned practitioner, Bienvenido Constantino, CPA. His expertise include aligning medium to large taxpayers’ IT-based accounting systems to comply with all the BIR regulations. He is the founder and CEO of Helix Software Technologies, an Australian IT firm specializing in cloud technologies designed for SME, large enterprises as well as for LGUs. His extensive experience include having worked as IT project director of World Bank projects with the Commission on Audit and the Department of Energy as well as in various USAID initiatives. He finished his bachelor’s degree in accountancy from the University of the Philippines.
