PALO, LEYTE, Philippines — Engineer Nene Bueno is now the new regional director of the Department of Public Works and Highways-8 (Eastern Visayas).
Bueno, in a turn-over ceremony held last August 30 at DPWH-8 regional office in Palo, Leyte, formally replaced Edgar Tabacon, who is now the new regional director of DPWH-Region 7 (Central Visayas).
Before she was assigned to Region 8, Bueno was the regional director of DPWH-Cordillera Autonomous Region (CAR).
On her first day of office at DPWH-8, Bueno held a special meeting with district engineers of the 13 district engineering offices of Eastern Visayas tackling issues and concerns in the implementation of infrastructure projects in the region.
On the second day, she met with the assistant district engineers and the monitoring engineers of the region. (FREEMAN)
