15 men compete for 1st Ginoong Sangyaw crown

TACLOBAN CITY, Philippines —  Fifteen young men in Eastern Visayas will be competing in the region-wide search for Ginoong Sangyaw 2018 on June 25, as part of the Sangyaw Festival in celebration of the Tacloban City annual fiesta.

Vying for the 1st Ginoong Sangyaw crown are: Cris Bernales; Dan Ephraim Lisaca; Mark Benedict Nitura; Klynt John Pecson; Leonil Cuyo; Charles Matthew Cadiz; Mark Ian Gil Mercado; Marky Morales; Denver Sim; Mark Vincent Nalda;  Joseph Roel Geneston; Ryan Rosales; Clint Tyrone Capon; Kier Oliver Mendoza; and Sam Franzrei Jaboli.

They will be presented first in a fashion show of men’s clothing collection on June 21 at Robinson’s North mall, and then compete in the talent, and question and answer portions on June 23, before the announcement of top 5 winners and coronation night on June 25.

These contestants will be promoting the Tacloban City government and the advocacy of the Sangyaw Foundation Inc. for a better Tacloban.
