LTO-Bayawan gets awards

DUMAGUETE CITY, Philippines — The Civil Service Commission-Region 7 confers three awards on the Land Transportation Office (LTO)-Bayawan District Office in Bayawan City, Negros Oriental for a clean and orderly environment, under  Category A (5S Principle), Category B (Repairs, Refurbishing and Repainting Facilities and Fixtures), and Category C (Landscaping).

CSC-Negros Oriental Director Gina Crucio said the Bayawan City government also received the Presidential Lingkod Bayan award for its Forest Management Unit, Mayor Valente Yap of Bindoy town, and Superintendent Ofelia Hermosa of the Department of Education-Bayawan City division.

LTO-Bayawan Head Alberta Janine Flores Lawas thanked the office employees for their cooperation in implementing the agency projects despite budget constraints.

Lawas, also lauded the help of the Bayawan City LGU, under Mayor Pryde Henry Teves, for giving assistance in the repair of the office. She also thanked LTO-7 for helping the Bayawan office in providing good services to the city and neighboring towns. (FREEMAN)
