ILOILO CITY, Philippines — All City Hall employees who will be conducting overtime starting this week will be placed under strict monitoring by the roving security personnel.
This after an executive assistant to the mayor and his new lover who works as casual employee, were allegedly caught doing scandalous act at the third floor of the city hall building Friday last week. Both employees were married.
Iloilo City Administrator Norlito Bautista could not confirmed the issue but he said he already ordered the security units assigned at the city hall to conduct regular roving inspection in all seven floors after office hours or after 5 p.m. to check who are those employees doing overtime.
Bautista said he required security personnel to make an inspection report everyday and submit to his office on the following day so that he could also supervise the movements of those employees conducting overtime work.
Meanwhile, Bautista said he tasked some of his personnel to conduct an investigation on the alleged sex scandal to validate the validity of the information. Once proven, he said a disciplinary action will be slapped against those involved employees. — (FREEMAN)
