Empty police outposts?

They used to be regularly manned. Now they are not. An EAR informer told The FREEMAN about the observable absence of a policeman of the police outposts in Cebu City. He said that under the previous city director’s administration, especially in the earlier part, those outposts were well manned by cops. “Karon, sinew pa’s opaw (Now the cops are gone),” the informer said. “Dapat naa’y pulis magbantay pirmi aron di matintal ang mga dautan nga magbinuang (There should be cops there always so criminals will hesitate to commit any offense).”
