How a manager protects his employees

THE EAR - The Freeman

MEAL  DEAL. After hearing that a mob of rugby boys frequented victimized his call center agents coming home late at night, a manager decided to take a different approach. He told the kids he would buy them a meal at a nearby eatery so long as they left his agents alone.

It worked. The kids stopped victimizing the agents and got meals in exchange. However, the kids now regularly wait for him to buy them meals, especially during paydays.

"Motoltol na man, mangutana 'kuya, wa pa'y sweldo?'" he told The EAR. However, he said it is the better alternative compared to his agents getting robbed.
