Politics. When the news about the ambush of Ermita barangay captain Felicisimo Rupinta broke out the other night, questions as to who masterminded the killing cropped up. Is politics the motive behind Rupinta's murder? Is it drugs? Is it love triangle? An Ear informer said these questions are relevant, considering Rupinta's life before he was killed.

No cover up. Rupinta's colleagues, allies, and friends called out the authorities to leave no stone unturned in search for justice for the fallen barangay captain. But a barangay official asked The Ear if the mastermind can really be put to the bar of justice. What if he is a very powerful man?
