HAVE BAT WILL STRIKE - Juanito V. Jabat   (The Freeman) - September 17, 2015 - 10:00am

Hoboken, New Jersey Police Chief Carmen LaBruno said police officers have taken videotapes of these supposedly educated people urinating on sidewalks fouling them with urine.

Of course, there are also Pinoys peeing on the sidewalks. Most of them on the walls of buildings and electric posts giving dogs unfair competition.

Even in Singapore where heavy punishment is meted on people urinating in public places. Even in places not too public. There was a man who landed in jail after being arrested for urinating inside an elevator.

Grace Poe says she'll announce her plans in two weeks. Political watchers are keeping their fingers crossed. They expect some surprises...like Grace raising her thumb and forefinger the familiar trademark of the party she had spurned many times.

Budget documents submitted to the House appropriations committee by chairman Rep. Isidro Ungab show that taxpayers are shelling out P2 billion daily for government salaries. That's the legit income source of the 1.2 million government officials and employees whom the poor taxpayers are feeding.

A Japanese expert in disaster mitigation has suggested to governments often hit by natural calamities like the Philippines to educate the youth on disaster preparedness.

Fumihiko Imamura, director of the International Disaster Research Institute, said disaster preparedness education among the youth could minimize casualties during calamities.
