The SK polls has again been postponed. By the time the polls finally gets the go signal, the "kabataan" will have already become no longer qualified for the SK.

The first of the Seven Last Words of Jesus Christ as he is nailed to the cross is: "Father, forgive them for they know not what they do." I like to think that the "them" here includes PNoy. For not saying sorry.
* * *
The same "them" could also refer to those who lash out at PNoy for his not apologizing although accepting responsibility for the death of the SAF 44. Just my take.

Businessman and civic leader Manny V. Pangilinan (MVP) has been endorsed as a 2016 presidentiable. As expected, MVP said he was honored and grateful but he's not interested.

MVP would make a good, honest and incorruptible president. But it's enough happiness and satisfaction in his life watching his cage teams, Meralco and NLEX, play in the PBA.

Reports say the MILF has justified the killing of the SAF 44 commandos in Mamasapano. The MILF's finding contradicts the government's own finding that the SAF commandos were murdered.

These contradicting findings could be a stumbling block and might even derail the passage of the controversial Bangsamoro Basic Law of BBL. Or so I think.

I have a friend, proprietor of a sari-sari store, who asked me what I could say about a country -- meaning the Phl -- where poverty incidence is up but car sales are also up 100%. I said ask me another question.

I watched on tv the graduation rites of the Phil National Police Academy and I couldn't help feeling impressed by the graduates as they paraded-in-review like the PMA cadets. A friend seated beside me said: "Kun ang tanan unta nga polis nato makaagi'g eskuwela sa PNPA mamenusan ang kotong cops."
