Philippine Arena

POPE'S VISIT. A Roman Catholic priest was heard "searching" for a covered venue for the Mass to be celebrated in by Pope Francis on his forthcoming visit. When someone suggested the Philippine Arena of the Iglesia ni Cristo, the priest, according to our Ear informer, pretended not to have heard.

WHY NOT? Another priest present said: "Yes, why not." He said there is nothing wrong with the Holy father saying Mass in the Philippine Arena that can hold 55,000 people. But will the INC agree? An old INC member present said: "Diha lang mo sa Luneta oy, atupi ra na ninyo. Bitaw, joke lang."
