Sad reality (Reflection)

READERS VIEW - Jean Michaut - The Freeman

What were true yesteryears about our Christian's life is still true today. Believe it or not, no change has taken place yet from our shepherds who should guide us.

We are still supporting the suffering, feeling the excruciating pains in our senses, our faculties and our soul.

The long-time expected healing has yet to come and our only resource is to continue to hope and pray until the blessing of the Lord through the Ordinary is at hand.

Where are our Paul's? Where are our Peter's? Are we surrounded only by Judas Iscariots?

When will be the time to find back the Vision of the Church that has been lost?

When the People of God will be, once again, united to continue its mission given by Jesus who built the Church?

When all members including clergy, religious and laity will unite and find back their specific roles, duties, and responsibilities? After all, without any exception each of us is a "Bible Ambassador." That is part of our Mission.

Individualism fails, only teamwork succeeds. Let's go on hand-in-hand in confidence without being afraid. Faith, Hope and Love will give us the strength to move mountains.

Nothing is impossible as long as we follow and respect what Jesus and the Apostles have taught us.

"Be not afraid of them" (Matthew 10:26). Silence is not an option. Do not ignore what the Canon Law 212 #2 and 3 as well as the Article 907 in the Catechism of the Catholic Church says:

"The Christian faithful are free to make known their needs, especially spiritual ones, and their desires to the pastors of the Church. In accord with the knowledge, competence and preeminence which they possess, they have the right and even at times a duty to manifest to their sacred pastors their opinion on matters which pertain to the good of the Church, and the have a right to make their opinion known to the other Christian faithful, with due regard for the integrity of faith and morals and reverence toward their pastors, and with consideration for the common good and dignity of persons."
