Rey Gonzaga charted 29 points while Dwight Gonzaga and Jeffrey Cavan conspired for 25 markers for Casili, which will enjoy twice-to-beat advantage in the Final 4 for coming out as the top seed in their bracket
Casili surged ahead by only five after three quarters, 61-56, but held on its ground in the face of a spirited endgame challenge by Jugan to walk away with a five-point victory.
In the same category, defending champion Pulpogan kept its title retention bid alive after getting past Pitogo, 86-78, in their knockout match.
Ernesto Tudtud topscored for Pulpogan with 23 points followed by Chris Yonnel Perolino with 20 markers.
In the midgets category, Poblacion Oriental marched into the last round of four after crushing Poblacion Occidental, 64-48, in their sudden-death duel.
Niño Charbel Sanchez, Rodolfo Froilan Maglasang, and Carlo Dale Maglasang combined for 39 points for Poblacion Oriental, which now girds up for a tough battle against the top-ranked Pulpogan next week.
In the open category, Regie Gabato led five players in double figures with 19 points as PB Corp. rallied past Goebert Store, 86-81, to seize the solo second place in the standings with a 2-1 win-loss card.
Rumar Ponce (15), Lemuel Malagar (15), Philip Niño Garcia (14) and Mils Anthony Linao (12) also cracked twin digits for PB Corp., which used a sizzling endgame assault to turn back Geobert.
