CEBU, Philippines — Eveything will come in time to those who knows how to wait.

That proved true for the ARQ Builders.

Asis Basketball Invitational Tournament last Saturday at the Lope Asis Memorial Gymnasium in Bayugan City, Agusan del Sur.

"It's our first time to win a championship in 10 years. We're very happy and proud with what our team has achieved," said ARQ Builders team owner Jason Arquisola.

After closing the first half with a 39-30 advantage, the Tamaraws further battered he Cobras using a decisive 25-8 attack in the the third period that vaulted them to an imposing 64-38 bulge.

The ARQ Builders-backed Tamaraws were never seriously threatened from thereon and went on to post a 23-point romp.

The Tamaraws pocketed P200,000 for their feat while the Cebu-based Cobras received P150,000 for placing second in the four-day tilt that is among the highlights of Bayugan's 12th Charter Day and Bayug Festival celebrations.
