CEBU, Philippines — Young volleybelles in Cebu will get a chance to showcase their wares as the Rebisco Volleyball League holds two qualifying tournament in August for the 2018 RVL Girls Under-18 Tournament.
The organizers plan to hold simulataneous qualifying events in Cebu City and Cebu Province.
The Cebu Province pre-qualifying leg is slated on August 6 at the Sacred Heart School Ateneo de Cebu, while the Cebu City leg at the University of Southern Philippines Foundation on the same date.
The Cebu City and Cebu Province legs complete the three Central Visayas pre-qualifying tournament including one in Bohol.
Ten teams will be competing in the Central Visayas Regional Finals set on August 10.
The regional champion team will receive a trophy, medals and P25, 000 worth of Mikasa volleyball equipments. The team will also represent Central Visayas in the RVL 2018 National Finals where they will be vying for the overall championship crown against other regional champions and three foreign teams.
