ASI, Bombardier, Kyocera, JP Morgan barge into win column in E-Leagues

CEBU, Philippines — The Author Solutions Inc. (ASI) Hardbacks barged into the win column, in the same way with the Bombardier Grey Wolves, Kyocera Frontiers and JP Morgan Chase & Co. Bankers in the EVO League of the Tanduay Athletics E-Leagues for Basketball  Season 14 last Sunday at the City Sports Club-Cebu Gym.

ASI pounded the Shearwater Health Crusaders, 67-52, the Bombardier spanked the Cognizant Tech Solutions Gladiators, 69-60, Kyocera escaped past Contact Solutions Flying Lemurs, 66-64, while JP Morgan trounced the Results Manila Spartans, 77-61.

Marc Francis Alvarez had 25 points and eight rebounds, Berand Allan Pepito added 10 and eight boards for the Hardbacks used a sizzling 41-23 run in the middle quarters to frustrate the Crusaders.

The Bombardier, on the other hand, banked on a combined 41-point show from Franklin Cuizon, Mariano Ralph and Gil Paulo Valencia in chalking up their first win.

Benjie Tero also made his presence felt for Bombardier with eight points, 17 rebounds, two assists and a block.

Starring in Kyocera’s flying start was Ariel Ramonito Edera with 20 points, eight boards, seven steals, and five assists, while JP Morgan drubbed the Results Manila behind the combined 25-point output of Fritz Malinao and Jun Mark Bayon. (FREEMAN)
