CEBU, Philippines - After hosting a bunch of tournaments, CitiGreen Tennis Resort will be organizing its own tournament dubbed as the CitiGreen Junior Tennis Cup on March 26. Aside from its own facility, games will also be played at the Alta Vista Golf and Country Club.

CitiGreen's maiden offering is a three-part series sanctioned by no less than the Philippine Tennis Association (PHILTA), the country's governing body of the sport.

Aside from providing the participants with the best venue they could ever have, CitiGreen also pledges to make the event a one-of-a-kind experience for them.

"We will showcase our first ever custom-made ceremonial trophy with replicas to be given to the winners. As much as possible, we’ll give it our best to mirror international tournaments especially the awarding ceremony, which can greatly impact the players’ confidence and pride," said CitiGreen marketing officer Shan Osorio.

More to it, the event is part of CitiGreen's vision that is “to serve as an environmentally sustainable tennis hub for the benefit of the public at large with a particular focus on the young in their formation of values such as wholesome recreation, healthy lifestyle, self-discipline, humility, sportsmanship, teamwork, social and ecological responsibility.”

For the first leg that is supported by Dunlop Sport, the categories to be contested are the unisex 10-under, boys and girls 12,  14,  16 and 18-under.
