MCIA requires One Health Pass registration for international arrivals

CEBU, Philippines —  All international passengers arriving at the Mactan-Cebu International Airport are now required to register for a One Health Pass (OHP) account via https://onehealthpass.com.ph/ starting Friday, November 26, 2021.

This is in compliance with the Inter-Agency Task Force Resolution No. 135 dated August 26, 2021.

The current MCIA Passenger Arrival Registration Form shall no longer be in use beginning November 25, 2021.

According to GMR-Megawide Cebu Airport Corporation in a statement that passengers arriving on November 26 and 27 must register for the OHP account and accomplish the electronic Health Declaration Checklist (eHDC) at least a day before their scheduled departure.

For passengers arriving after November 27, it added, must register for an OHP account at least three days prior to their scheduled departure.

“Passengers are reminded to ensure completion and compliance with the OHP procedure to avoid being denied boarding,” the statement reads.

All passengers are also encouraged to check with their preferred airlines and country or place of destination for other specific requirements or protocols.

“Everyone is reminded to follow airport health and safety protocols at all times to ensure the safety and well-being of the other passengers and airport staff,” it added. — GMR (FREEMAN)
