Man arrested for stealing 2 cans of milk

CEBU, Philippines — A man was arrested after he allegedly was caught stealing two cans of milk from the grocery section of a mall in the North Reclamation Area Sunday evening.

The suspect was identified as Jebrel Abella, 43, a resident of Sitio San Roque, Barangay Mambaling, Cebu City.

It was Jessie Pelayo, 25, a house detective of the mall, who arrested Abella after he caught him trying to bring two cans of milk still unpaid for outside the mall. The two cans of milk, both costing a total of P5,978, were placed in a brown eco-bag.
