Through the efforts and genuine endeavors of Dr. Warfe Engracia to benefit his fellow Cebuanos, he accepted an invitation last November 11 from the Rotary Club of Omiya in Japan, in association with the Rotary Club of Mactan, to attend various activities there.
Dr. Engracia was accompanied by RC Mactan President Reynante Mangayo and Sec. Maita Manglapus. Also with them were Dr. Mark Caballero, Dr. Odalie Aznar Madamba and Radtech Raymond Velasquez, who were to attend seminars and training.
Because of the association with the Rotary Club of Omiya, the Rotary Club granted an Ultrasonic Diagnostic machine for Preventive Medicine to Sacred Heart Hospital under the chairmanship of Dr. Engracia, who heads the Department of Radiology.
Dr. Madamba, Dr. Caballero and Radtech Velasquez participated in the VTT Ultrasound training in Japan sponsored by the Rotary Club of Omiya in coordination with the Rotary Club of Mactan. Ultrasound is very important and a safer tool for medical diagnostic purposes particularly for Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Engracia is grateful to the Medical Director, Dr. Takashi Nakagawa for his valuable support to the VTT Team and the Rotary Club of Mactan delegates.
