Waterfront Airport Hotel & Casino hotel manager Rex Benhur Caballes formally opened the night for the hotel’s Enchanting Emerald Anniversary and Christmas theme, in which the Emerald symbolizes luck and love.
The lighting of the Christmas tree was spearheaded by the Mayor of the Lapu-Lapu City, Hon. Paz Corro Radaza assisted by Mr. Rex Benhur Caballes together with Mactan Cebu International Airport Authority general manager Engr. Nigel Villarete and Atty. Steve Dicdican, also of MCIAA.
The Cebu Philharmonic Orchestra filled the air with Christmas melodies.

For their 20th anniversary celebration, the hotel gives recognition to their dedicated peers who served 20 years in service. The hotel also made a 20th anniversary video presentation, an intimate celebration for the peers in the hotel with a Broadway presentation, enjoyed a fun summer outing and spared time to share and give warmth to others through their annual CSR activity in partnership with House of Hope and CSWDO Home Care for Children both in Lapu-Lapu City.
