St. Michael’s Play Garden Culmination Activity

CEBU, Philippines - Last Saturday was quite special for the pupils of St. Michael’s Play Garden, with the celebration of the school’s Culminating Activity held in its campus in Banilad.

Featuring an art exhibition showcasing a number of artworks and crafts made by its students, the activity also featured recorder, guitar and piano musical presentations, making the event just as unique as St. Michael’s Play Garden is as a place where learning takes place.

With classes held inside and outside the four corners of the classroom, discovering and learning new things is more fun and more dynamic in St. Michael’s Play Garden, with everyone gaining the chance to learn more about the world without being inhibited at all.

In St. Michael’s Play Garden, art lessons are not simply about making beautiful paintings, but also about teaching pupils more about color combinations, and what the combination of colors mean in the creation of other colors.

The school’s unique approach in imparting lessons is also quite interactive in St. Michael’s Play Garden, where pupils don’t simply learn new things from books, having the chance to actually learn more about nature and its wonders outside, just as nature’s wonders happens before their eyes.

As a Waldorf-inspired school, St. Michael’s Play Garden truly stands out as a place where learning can be exciting and fun for everyone.
