Bea Alonzo and Vincent Co paint a picture of happy newlyweds in a series of photos taken during their civil wedding uploaded by the actress on her Instagram on Wednesday afternoon.
“Home,” Bea described of her black-and-white Instagram carousel. The photo collection shows her wearing her wedding ring, their wedding kiss hidden behind her bouquet of flowers, a “Just Married” cake, and them standing in front of the office of Makati Mayor Nancy Binay, who officiated their civil wedding last Monday, July 13, at 7 p.m.
Binay and entertainment host Ogie Diaz were the first to break the news of Bea and Vincent’s civil wedding, following months of uncertainty regarding their relationship, including a canceled wedding in Spain and breakup rumors in June.
According to Ogie, the wedding was attended by only a handful of guests, with no immediate family members present. He said the only witnesses were the owners of Secosana, the brand behind Bea's travel essentials label, Bash.
Ogie also claimed he had seen a photo of the ceremony and the couple's marriage certificate. He added that Bea and Vincent had signed a prenuptial agreement, which he said was not an issue between the two.
In June, Bea fueled breakup rumors after eagle-eyed fans noticed that she had unfollowed Vincent on Instagram. Reports at the time claimed their overseas wedding had been canceled, allegedly over issues surrounding the couple's prenuptial agreement, although neither Bea nor Vincent confirmed the reports.
The couple made their relationship public in 2024 after months of speculation and announced their engagement earlier this June. – Philstar.com
