Earthday Jam holds provincial tour

CEBU, Philippines -  Earthday Jam, the biggest and the longest-running annual environmental musical tribute to Mother Earth will finally hit the road with several provincial mall shows.

Conceived, organized and produced by Dimitri Productions, the independent organization headed by eco-artist-rocker Lou Bonnevie and music director Toto Gentica  for 13 years now —  the event continues its campaign to greater create awareness in environmental preservation, with much concentration on the concept of climate change. Experts said that the recent storm surge, typhoons and the havoc it has created in many parts of the Philippines is mainly attributed to many man-made activities. Proper information for ordinary people will help the world solve this pressing problem.

Earthday Jam has toured Metro Manila’s Tomas Morato Ave., Timog Avenue, Mall of Asia and the Bonifacio Global City with thousands of audiences in attendance each year mainly because of the music but also because of the message. It is endorsed and supported by various agencies such as the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), Climate Change Commission, Earth day Network Philippines , DEP-ED and is participated by international NGOs such as GreenPeace and WWF.

On Nov. 23, Earthday Jam on Tour will storm the Ayala Center Cebu Terraces with a three-hour musical marathon. The show will start at 5 p.m. and will feature live musical performances by Lou Bonnevie who will bring her band comprising veteran session players.
