CEBU, Philippines — Duros Land Properties Inc. is ramping up development for countryside residential projects, anticipating an increasing demand for outside of city living.
“At the initial stage of the pandemic, people from the cities were trying to get out from city premises. I thought it was just temporary. Now, we are trying to accommodate them,” said Duros Land Properties Inc. chairman Noelito Barino.
Aside from its more than 300-hectare integrated property spreading six barangays in Liloan, Cebu, which is now hosting several residential subdivisions, including condominium towers, condotel, hotels, golf course and golf academy, the company is also pouring in money to build residential villages in other areas like in the town of Daan Bantayan, among others.
According to Barino, his team is now doing a lot of (developmental) planning to complement with the demand.
Now on its 10th year, Barino said the company is adopting fresher thrust, which will focus on “Shaping vibrant cities of the future.”
He added that for its hometown, Liloan, Duros has been ahead in building infrastructure and support facilities to help
Lilo-an accelerate plans of becoming a city.
Duros Land is an offspring of Duros Development Corporation, a Triple-A, ISO-certified construction company with over 30 years of experience in big ticket infrastructure projects.
Currently, the company is building several residential subdivision brands, such as One Tectona, Woodlands Prime, Bay-Ang Ridge, Golfers Village, Lataban Estates, and the upcoming residential farm project Barangays San Roque and Tabla, Liloan.
One Tectona is a multi-tower residential complex within the Woodlands in Barangay Yati, Liloan. The Woodlands Prime on the other hand is a limited all single-detached houses in the last remaining enclave within the Woodlands Communities.
Meanwhile, the Bay-ang Ridge project, is a mid-range residential subdivision in Barangay Sta-Cruz, Liloan, with its own set of amenities and commercial components.
The Golfers Village is a series of exclusive lot-only residential subdivisions surrounding the golf course in Barangay San Roque.
Lataban Estates is an 80-hectare master planned and fully integrated lot only development in the scenic hills of Barangay Lataban. It is the first residential development in Cebu with a dedicated bike lane and jogging path integrated in the road network.
