Quezon City taxpayers have until the end of the month to settle their business
taxes, fees and charges and renew their business permits and licenses without
penalty.

The Quezon City Council approved last Thursday an ordinance extending the
payment of business taxes and fees and renewal of business permits and licenses
without surcharges and penalties from Jan. 20 to Jan. 31

The measure, introduced by majority floor leader Godofredo Liban II was meant
to accommodate the volume of taxpayers queuing to the city hall trying to beat
the Jan.
