Results of the study which was published in the Journal of the American Medical Association showed that unhealthy habits such as smoking, poor diet and physical inactivity account for 39 percent of deaths in the United States.

According to James Marks, one of the researchers of the study, these practices will be the leading causes of death if people don’t modify their lifestyle.
