There is something about achieving fame at a young age that results in arrogance. Fortunately, in today’s showbiz landscape – populated mostly by young stars – there are still a lot of nice people who are courteous and polite toward their co-workers and to everyone in general.


Now, I have no idea how they are at work (and even at home) but I can give you a list of the young stars I’ve encountered who are nice and pleasant. Here it is:

I remember when Country Waffles first opened in Glorietta 4.  I was one of the many who got addicted to it there was almost never a month that I did not enter their premises at least once to partake of their fare.  For Richard and me (and whoever else we were with at any given time), it was a constant last stop after watching a movie.  It became, for us, the perfect place for a nightcap where we either raved about a good movie or bewailed an incredibly horrible one.
