(First of two parts)
There is something about achieving fame at a young age that results in arrogance. Fortunately, in today’s showbiz landscape – populated mostly by young stars – there are still a lot of nice people who are courteous and polite toward their co-workers and to everyone in general.

Now, I have no idea how they are at work (and even at home) but I can give you a list of the young stars I’ve encountered who are nice and pleasant. Here it is: [DatePublished] => 2006-04-27 00:00:00 [ColumnID] => 135739 [Focus] => 0 [AuthorID] => 1186451 [AuthorName] => Butch Francisco [SectionName] => Entertainment [SectionUrl] => entertainment [URL] => ) [2] => Array ( [ArticleID] => 289794 [Title] => More than just really good waffles at Country Waffles Greenhills [Summary] => Few things can rival really good waffles, but on a steaming hot day at lunch hour, a hearty steak with mashed potatoes and a cool glass of watermelon and pineapple juice do more than trump the breakfast of champions – it’s good ol’ country cooking at its best. Country Waffles on Annapolis Street, Greenhills, that rustic, homestead-style restaurant that would look more comfortable somewhere in Ohio, has moved forward from the breakfast menu and iced tea served in syrup jars that have made them famous. I was one of the many who got addicted to it there was almost never a month that I did not enter their premises at least once to partake of their fare. For Richard and me (and whoever else we were with at any given time), it was a constant last stop after watching a movie. It became, for us, the perfect place for a nightcap where we either raved about a good movie or bewailed an incredibly horrible one. A menu offering a wide range of waffles and pancakes – chunky peanut butter spread over waffles, bananas, peaches, mangoes, blueberries, cherries and whipped butter on top – with golden Log Cabin syrup dripping on the sides! Who would have thought you could have steak for dinner and then waffles for dessert? Or a Cajun skillet and Salpicao?
