Jordan, Paragas rule Pendatun Cup
MANILA, Philippines — Bobby Jordan and Jorgie Paragas led a new batch of champions who emerged at the Sen. Salipada K. Pendatun Memorial Cup held recently at the Forest Hills Golf and Country Club in Antipolo.
Jordan ruled the Vanguard Division with the Batch ‘85 ace topping Mike Mendoza of Batch ‘94 while Paragas topped the Ladies Division with Jane Mercado taking second-place honors in the event hosted by the University of the Philippines Vanguard Inc. to honor the legacy of the late statesman and UP Vanguard member Sen. Salipada K. Pendatun, Class of 1936.
The Class C category featured a tight competition with Rod Villahermosa edging out Ian Alvaera for top honors.
In Class B, Gabriel Tuason emerged victorious against fellow contender Alvin Cagas, while Magic Ante won the Class A title, outlasting runner-up Eugene Viudez.
