MANILA, Philippines -- Trainer Manny?

Dwight Howard "finally found" a trainer that would prepare him for a fight with boxer and YouTuber Jake Paul, the basketball player joked.

And that is no other than Filipino boxing legend Manny Pacquiao.

Howard and members of the Strong Group Athletics (SGA) team met the former boxer and senator at Pacquiao's residence.

The ever-jokester Howard posted videos of their encounter on his official X (Formerly Twitter) account.

"Me and Manny Pacquiao. Jake Paul, I'm coming for you, baby!" Howard said in the video.

"I'm coming. Let's go!" he added.

Paul has previously fought in professional boxing bouts in the past.

He previously fought YouTuber AnEsonGib, former NBA star Nate Robinson, former UFC stars Ben Askren, Tyron Woodley, Anderson Silva and Nate Diaz, as well as boxers Tommy Fury and Andre August.

Paul has an 8-1 win-loss boxing record, with his lone loss coming from Fury.

"I saw Manny Pacquiao was in Taiwan while I was in the Philippines how ironic. Long story short it all worked out and I finally found a trainer to prepare me for this Jake Paul fight," Howard said.

"Who ya got winning?" he added.

Howard is in the Philippines training as part of the SGA team that will be going to the 33rd Dubai International Basketball Championship later this month.

He will team up with former NBA stars Andray Blatche and Andre Roberson, as well as former TNT Tropang Giga import Mckenzie Moore.

Also in the team are locals Kevin Quiambao, Francis Escandor, JD Cagulangan, Allen Liwag, Tony Ynot, Justine Sanchez, Justine Baltazar and Jordan Heading.
