Sustaining the charge from their fifth leg conquest, SMB’s Ken Bono, Wendell Comboy, Jeff Manday and Bam Gamalinda outclassed Pioneer Pro Tibay, 21-19, and Barangay Ginebra, 21-18, for a 2-0 running start.
Limitless’ Jorey Napoles, Simon Camacho, Nico Salva and Ryan Arambulo also prevailed over the Gin Kings, 17-12, and the Pro Tibay, 21-15, to advance.
The Beermen and the Appmasters dispute Pool A’s top seeding today before embarking on their respective quarters campaigns.
Meanwhile, the Super Sealers went two-for-two in Pool D while Platinum Karaoke posted 2-1 in Pool C to make it to the knockout round.

In Pool B, pacesetting TNT opened with a 14-12 verdict over Purefoods for pole position ahead of the Titans, who were victorious over Zamboanga, 21-12.
