MANILA, Philippines — Twelve teams with five members each gird up for the keenly awaited Encuentro Big Event 5 -Stag Derby Part 4 with 150 confirmed fights Friday at the Pasay City Cockpit.
Cockfight stars from the provinces will compete in this special stagfest supported by Sagupaan Superfeeds and Complexor 3000, said Luzon Gamecock Breeders Association (LGBA) president Nick Crisostomo.
Highlander Cavite, Kapampangan, La Union, MCC, Mindoro, LGBA North, LGBA South, Quezon, Rizal, Tarlac VY, UMCGBA and UAD are the competing teams.
Separate prizes and trophies will be given to team and individual champions.
Meanwhile, Round 2 of the PFGB Digmaan 11-Stag National Derby elims was moved to Thursday in anticipation of the possible onslaught by Typhoon Tisoy.
