SAN JUAN, Philippines — Wing spiker Justine Dorog is glad to be back on offense for the UP Lady Maroons.

Coming away with 12 points in UP's five-set victory over the UE Lady Warriors, Dorog was a force to be reckoned with.

Despite returning from a two-year stint as a libero for the Lady Maroons, Dorog simply didn't show any rust in her spiking form.

"Syempre happy [ako] kasi bumalik na ako sa position ko talaga na nakasanayan ko," Dorog said.

Easing back into her position wasn't a big adjustment for the fourth-year spiker, channeling her defensive prowess as a libero into her offense.

"'Di naman big adjustment yung pag[balik] ko, kasi kailangan din naman dumepensa as a spiker," she said.

Grateful to be back on the offensive line for the Lady Maroons, Dorog wants to make the best for her every outing.

"Every game, nagmimindset ako na kailangan ko magperform. 'Di lang naman para sa sarili ko, pero para sa team na rin," Dorog said.

Dorog and the rest of the Lady Maroons are set to see action again on Wednesday, February 20, when they go against the FEU Lady Tamaraws.
