MANILA, Philippines — Kinuwestiyon ni Pa­lace Press Officer Atty. Claire Castro ang ACT Teachers party-list kung ano ang gagawing aksiyon sa guro sa Danao City, Cebu na nagbantang babarilin siya sa bunganga.

“Ang tanong natin, tama ba ito ACT Teachers party-list? Anong gagawin n’yo, anong balak n’yo?” ani Castro.

Naniniwala si Castro na bilang party-list na kumakatawan sa mga guro sa Kongreso, dapat magpakita ng aksiyon ang ACT Teachers. Dapat aniyang itama ng ACT Teachers party-list ang ibang guro na naliliko na sa tunay na layunin ng kanilang propesyon.

Kung susuriin aniya, nagsimula ang isyu dahil binago ang kanyang sinabi patungkol sa mga guro na lumalabag sa moralidad ng pagtuturo at madami kaagad sumakay sa isyu.

Ayon pa kay Castro, kung hindi ini-spin (spin) ang sinabi niya at hindi ginawan ng ibang kuwento ay wala sanang debate.

Sinabi rin ni Castro na responsibilidad ng ACT Teachers na itama ang maling aksiyon ng mga gurong kanilang ikinakatawan sa Kongreso.

Nauna nang napaulat na sinabi ni Castro na posibleng patung-patong ang kaharaping kaso ng guro sa Cebu na nagbantang babarilin siya sa bunganga.

Aniya, hindi simpleng grave threat ang pagbabantang ginawa ng guro dahil inihayag ito online at kapag napatunayan ay may kulong na hanggang apat na taon.
