MANILA, Philippines — F2 Logistics and Petron close another chapter in their fierce rivalry, each gunning to lift the Philippine Superliga All-Filipino Conference trophy and bask in glory tonight at the Filoil Flying V Center in San Juan.

The Cargo Movers and the Blaze Spikers clash one last time in the best-of-three finale, both looking to walk away with the crown that would give them the 3-2 edge in their fifth straight date in the Last Dance.

F2 Logistics forced the rubber match at 7 p.m. today after taking down the once unbeatable Petron in Game Two, 21-25, 25-19, 25-20, 25-17 last Tuesday.

Indomitable all-conference long, the Blaze Spikers sustained their dominance in the series opener, 25-23, 25-11, 25-17, last Saturday, stretching their impeccable record to 13-0 and were heading for their second tournament sweep in Game Two when the Cargo Movers stopped them in their tracks.

But despite the confidence-boosting Game Two win, F2 Logistics’ Ara Galang said that the job is not yet done until they take home the crown.

“We will not relax just because we were able to take Game Two. We took Game Two because we want to take Game Three. That’s our mindset,” said Galang, who topscored with 20 points for F2 Logistics in its Game Two win at the Mall of Asia Arena.

“We will double all our preparations that we did for Game Two. Since it’s Game Three, we will give it our all. We will pour everything we have learned, all our hardships, on the court,” she added.

On the other hand, Blaze Spikers coach Shaq delos Santos assured that the Game Two loss would not dampen their spirits, adding that the setback did not swing the momentum in the Cargo Movers’ favor – they simply leveled the duel.
