Palace smothers AFP in UNTV Cup

MANILA, Philippines — Special Assistant to the President Sec. Bong Go sizzled for a record 47-point feat as Malacañang-Philippine Sports Commission drubbed also-ran Armed Forces of the Philippines, 87-69, and stayed in the hunt for the last semis berth in the second UNTV Cup Executive Face-Off at the Pasig City Sports Center last Sunday.

It was Go’s second 40-plus output as the Davao executive also fired 44 points in the team’s 105-79 romp over the GSIS Furies last week, helping the Kamao to remain in contention with a 2-3 card.
