MANILA, Philippines — Pasay City Cockpit’s series of big-time derbies resumes Friday with the staging of the Rey and Danny five-cock derby with 100 fights on tap.
Backed by Sagupaan Superfeeds and Complexor 3000 and hosted by Rey Soberano, the 2017 UFCC Cocker of the Year with LB Candelaria, the event serves as a follow-up to last week’s Rey San Luis four-cock event that featured 114 fights.
Deadline for listup is set at 9 p.m. tomorrow.
Meanwhile, the early bird stag-fighting starts at the PCC next month via the LBC Cup nine-stag derby. The two-stag elims is set on July 20 and 27 to be followed by the three-stag semifinals on Aug. 3, the two-stag elims on Aug. 10 and 13 and the three-stag semis on Aug. 17.
Set in various cockpits in Luzon, the LBC Cup will have its grand finals at the PCC on Aug. 24.
