MANILA, Philippines — Semi-professional volleyball players raised almost P217,000 pesos to donate to Olympian Ian Larriba.
Several volleyball players in the Philippine Superiga auctioned their jerseys online to raise funds for Larriba's medication.
Larriba, the Rio Olympics flag-bearer and multi-UAAP champion, was diagnosed with acute myeloid Leukemia.
Petron player and former University of Santo Tomas standout Carmela Tunay on Tuesday posted the result of the auction.
