Entries for Cobra 9-stag derby up at Ynares
MANILA, Philippines - Submission of entries to the “AA Cobra Big Event 9- Stag Derby” will be held today at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.
Weight limits are from 1.7 kgs. to 2.150 kgs. Only “Bakbakan” stags from International Federation of Gamefowl Breeders (FIGBA ) and Digmaan stags from Pambansang Federation Ng Gamefowl Breeders (PFGB-Digmaan, Inc.) will be allowed.
The schedule of competition: Oct 24 (2-stag elims ); Oct. 25 ( 3-stag semifinals) and Oct. 27 (4-stag finals ).This same format will be used in the upcoming “World Pitmasters 9-cock International Derby” in January.
With more than 60 entries expected, the total guaranteed pot may reach to P5 million.
Charlie “Atong” Ang of Ultimate Fighting Cock Championships will host the event sponsored by Thunderbird and sabong sports.
