Lady Tams blame complacency for first V-League loss

MANILA, Philippines – The Far Eastern University Lady Tamaraws had been enjoying a perfect campaign in the 13th Shakey's V-League Collegiate Conference. Until they faced the National University Lady Bulldogs last Thursday.

FEU had a chance to dispose of NU after going up two sets to one, but the defending champions came to life in the fourth and fifth sets to blemish the Lady Tams' record.

For team captain Remy Palma, the team's lack of sense of urgency cost them the game.

"Nag-relax kami. Naunahan kami so nahirapan kami makabalik," she said.

Palma said that they did not feel pressure going to the game as the only undefeated team.

The middle blocker said they will now treat their next game against San Sebastian on Saturday with urgency.

"Mahirap sabihin na may advantage padin kami. Kung ano 'yung nasa harapan namin 'yun ang dapat namin paghandaan." said Palma.
