NEW YORK — Undefeated Carl Frampton of Northern Ireland will fight Leo Santa Cruz for the WBA featherweight title July 30 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
Cyclone promotions announced the bout Thursday.
Frampton (22-0, 14 KOs) dethroned WBA super bantamweight champion Scott Quigg on February 27 in Manchester, England, to unify the title at that weight.
Santa Cruz (31-0-1, 17 KOs) is a three-division champion from California. In his last fight, he stopped Kiko Martinez in the fifth round.
