MANILA, Philippines - The much-awaited four-cock anniversary derby will be held tonight at the Elorde Cockpit Stadium on Sucat Road, Parañaque.
Promoted by businessman-sportsman Johnny Elorde, the derby has drawn top breeders like Alex Tobias, Nene Aguilar of Las Piñas, Teves brothers of Laguna, Jessie Marquez (Silver Mallet), Marlon’s Wolverine, Bong Paraiso, Ka Bido’s IBZF, Talaba Cockpit, Jun Bacolod and Erick Don Enrique.
The event has a guaranteed prize of P300,000,. The winning handler gets P20,000 and gaffer P10,000. Minimum bet is P5,500.
