MANILA, Philippines - GMA Network will telecast the “Pacquiao vs Algieri: Hungry for Glory” showdown via satellite starting at 11 a.m. tomorrow. The live blow-by-blow action will also be aired over Super Radyo DZBB 594, Barangay LS 97.1 and on all RGMA stations nationwide beginning at 10 a.m.
A repeat telecast of the fight, scheduled over 12 rounds at the Cotai Arena in Macau will be shown on GMA’s Sunday Night Box Office (SNBO) at 10:40 tonight.
The Filipino icon beat Brandon Rios last year, also in Macau, to capture the vacant WBO international world title with the eight-division world champion heavily fancied to defend his welterweight crown against the unbeaten Algieri.
Algieri has piled up a record 20 wins, with eight knockouts, including a victory over Ruslan Provodnikov.
