Amway reels off with fun run

MANILA, Philippines - The Philippines takes the spotlights as Amway, a global direct selling company, marks the special day for the second consecutive year by holding a series of fun run activities in Manila, Cagayan de Oro and Davao City beginning January this year.

Dubbed “1k@Amway Fun Run 2014, powered by Nutrilite” at the SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City, Amway has always focused on supporting the well-being of its Independent Business Owners (IBO). This event will also serve as kick-off activity for Nutrilite’s 80th Anniversary celebration this yearr to raise the importance and value of taking good care of one’s health and nutrition.

Registrants may choose to run 1K, 5K or 8K. Other than Metro Manila, the race was also held at Cagayan De Oro City on Feb. 9 and Davao City on Feb.16.

Amway Philippines country manager Leni Olmedo said Amway Philippines is a multi-level direct selling company that provides promising business and income opportunities to its IBOs. 

“The1K@Amway run is now on its second year and the main aim of this fun event is to raise awareness about the low cost, low risk business opportunity being offered by Amway. 1K stands for P1,000, which stands for the registration fee to become an Amway business owner. As an independent business owner, you get support from one of the largest and most successful direct selling companies in the world; you get access to high quality global brands, free corporate support, training programs and business tools, and the opportunity to achieve success and income on your own terms,” Olmedo said.

“Just recently, Enchong Dee joined us as one of our newest IBO, after more than a year of promoting our biggest brand, Nutrilite as its brand ambassador,”  he added.

She however stressed that the fun-filled run activities is open not only to IBOs but to non-IBO participants and running enthusiasts as well.
